Eine schmale, vertikal ausgerichtete Metallkonstruktion wird mit einem Hammer in den Boden gerammt und dadurch verankert. Ich binde meinen Körper oben und unten an dieser Vorrichtung fest und fixiere ihn dadurch an ihr. Indem ich meinen Fuß in den Boden stemme, versuche ich entgegen dem Widerstand meiner Skulptur auf die Seite zu fallen. Diese disparat-konträr einwirkenden Kräfte (erzwungen-provoziertes Fallen vs. stabile Verankerung der Skulptur) und die unnatürlich lange Zeitverzögerung führen das Motiv des Fallens ad absurdum.

A slim, vertical metal construction is rammed and anchored into the ground with a hammer. I tie my body to the top and bottom of this device thus fixing myself into it. By pushing my foot into the ground, I fall to the side, against the resistance of the sculpture. These disparate-contrary working forces (forced and provoked fall vs. the stable anchoring of the sculpture) and the unnaturally long delay lead the motive of falling ad absurdum.
