Buskers

Video installation: three monitors, one projector; Installation in public space, high volume/
From my archive of filmed buskers I searched for four musicians to create a composition: two singers, one drummer and one saxophonist. The musicians come from Mexico City, New York and other places in the world.

I create a song with these videos with the total length of 3 minutes and 20 seconds by editing the length of all videos. Besides that I leave the videos unchanged to retain the original sound and picture. Although I conceive a composition out of these videos, the individual parts still remain in its coarseness: They complement each other but also interfere at the same time.The composition is installed in the public place to create a new perspective of everyday situations.
